Hi, I'm Michael.

I've lived in Caledon since 2003, a couple of minutes outside Orangeville, so this has been home for more than twenty years.

Some people may even remember me from AllStarCollectors.com, the sports card shop I owned in town from 2007 to 2010.

I've always enjoyed being part of the local community and dealing with people face to face, and that's something I wanted to bring to Low Cost Canada.

Low Cost Canada came out of wanting to do something useful close to home. I like helping people in my own community, I like buying Canadian where I can, and I think there's a lot to be said for a household having a properly stocked pantry. Not out of worry, just because it's a sensible way to live and it saves money over the year. Living up here, a bulk run means the better part of a day. If I'm making that trip anyway, there's no reason my neighbours can't come along with me.

These days, I'm the person behind your order. I'll be the one you talk to, the one doing the shopping, and the one bringing it to your door. I think there's something to be said for dealing with the same person every time. I'll get to know my regular customers, remember the things they usually order, and hopefully make grocery shopping a little easier along the way.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 28 years, our son, and our two cats. My wife and I also love to travel whenever we get the chance. After more than two decades here, I've come to know the area and the people who call it home pretty well.

Low Cost Canada is a local business, and that's exactly how I want it to feel. You'll know who you're dealing with, I'll know who I'm shopping for, and I'll do my best to make every order a straightforward, personal experience.
